The easier-to-be-played specie might not be strongest. I would rather take a server full of marines or xenomorphs than full of preds. Then I would learn myself to be the ultimate predator and be the lonely king of the hill.

I don't really know about equality. Each specie should have their proper abilities, put them together and see what happens. I've always thought that has been the main idea.

A balance needs to be there otherwise you get a crappy mod...

yeah...but alot of the things that should be implmented; cannot. So in order to compensate. Some species dont have access to certian abilities...while other species get more...making it unfair.

and lack of balance just makes it a bad game. Balance is what brings out skill.

Balance is pretty damn hard to get... It always end up leaning one direction
or another... I think it would probably be for the best if humans are made a
tiny little bit better than the others just to be sure that in the end it is them
and not aliens and especially not predators...

And hopefully in the end the humans turn out to be just easier to learn and
to be "good" with rather than all the way better...

Animation for alien stand/crouch be controllable?

I work on movement and it's quite sad when i see an alien be stealthy, but its tail is slithering around, so i can see it. Or it's head will move from side to side in crouch, which at one point moves forward. It just spoils it ya know?

The wallwalk disables all movement animations for alien already in R2.

It also makes you crouch lower thant normal. Its perfect for sneak attacks.

Would this new server option be possible?

A lag compensate option: Speed up all attacks (if needed also movement) by one second? This would only really be any good during laggy games as in a nice non-laggy server the attacks would go off too soon.

I think this is a real nice idea, if it is at all possible what do you people think?

Making game load all the pv models from another folder should be possible. Although the function enabled would need server to restart in order to load new pv models.
