I opened this topic to see player's POV , what do they think AJL must do with striker.

My opinion on striker is:

Seeker is unfair for humans, they move slowly and if stand on one place so itl not track, theyre easy targets.

For Pred vs Pred - seeker is not a good weapon since it does not tracks cloaked predators.

For Aliens - it is OK, because they can avoid it (you need ping around 150 to do it anyway)

So, i think it must be either replaced or be retweaked.

I don't have anything personnal with Seeker against human since Human can shoot it and make it explode.
The real problem (if there is one) it's against Alien.
Alien can avid it yes, but don't forget the seeker will strike back and after 3 - 4 pounce, you can't jump/pounce anymore to avoid and... the seeker got ya.
The thing to try will be to bite the seeker in this case you could survive to the explosion which isn't a direct impact.
Crazy idea :D

It's quite OK class. Unfair for aliens though.

Striker remains... But it is different in some ways...

1. Its immunity to explosions and plasma is gone, instead its suit
gives protection against fire and aliens acid...

2. Wrist burner have "recoil"... meaning short bursts are accurate
but continuous fire sprays all over the place...

3. Seeker Drones have been lobotomized... They don't detect you
on their own anymore... Predator needs to keep target locked just
like with Smart Disc and they drain preds juice while flying...

4. Striker went and stole a staff weapon from some Jaffa dood...

Plasma fire... that's doesn't sound a good Predator weapon.
More Human than Predator as in Predator Concrete Jungle where human use it.
Plasma fire means: It makes fire cos you don't know the technology how to make an accurate shot in a single bolt.

That's more a weapon for a retard specie as us than an advance specie as Predator.

Some sort of fusion torpedo could work though. Extremely advanced technology, ability to make it track. Looks like a big, glowing plasma ball.

This is what they fire... They may look like plasma bolts maybe...

But while inactive they are... clearly... not... plasma bolts...

And believe me those things are strong, hell they owned the command ship of Anubis, but enough Stargate talk. Why not make it fire like a Jafa staff weapon, let it fire like 10 projectiles, but no lock-on modus like all the other cannons.
